The fees of a single-entry re-entry permit are 411.10 EGP.
The fees of multiple entry re-entry permit are 511.10 EGP.
Foreigners authorized for temporary residence permit for tourism purposes could get their re-entry visas to travel and return to continue their previously acquired residence without submitting a visa when returning, on the condition of their return to be done during the valid duration of the re-entry visa.
Those who are authorized for temporary residence for purposes other than tourism are not required to acquire a re-entry visa in case of travelling and returning during the period of the residence permit, provided that they do not spend more than 6 months abroad, or more than the validity period of their residence permit granted for them, whichever is less.
Persons could acquire a re-entry valid visa of less than one year before their departure – if they want to stay abroad for a period starting from 6 months to 1 year (whichever is less) - in order to re-enter and continue their previous residence.
